Deepthi presented a recent study which investigates the role of the spatial network in the successful legacy use of stadiums and other venues after mega-events. Five spatial properties of venues are compared across the 4 cities – Barcelona, Athens, London and Doha. This research establishes the potential of space to influence successful mega-event legacies, which can then be used as a ready reference tool to check against while designing/ retrofitting a mega-development.
