Msheireb Downtown Doha

This urban study applied space syntax and visual graphic analysis (VGA) to assess the potentials for making new connections from the central plaza, ‘Baraha’ in Msheireb, towards the Doha Corniche. The added connection has the potential of structuring and densifying mixed-use along its path, overtaking a large parking area for more pedestrian-driven uses.

Recently, the said parking has moved underground and the area is being lent to socio-cultural activities; the connection, although undefined, is now possible.
