The London Olympics of 2012 was placed in Stratford with the aim for it to be a catalyst for the redevelopment of east London. By comparing the socio-economic conditions from before and after the Olympics, and correlating the changes to the spatial changes of the area, we found that the extent of the impact is within 1600m of the park. The short reach of this regeneration aligns with the LLDC (London Legacy Development Corporation) boundary and has not yet benefited the surrounding neighbourhoods.
